One tricky scenario we occasionally come across is where an event organiser wants to restrict tickets to a specific group of people. A good example of this is an event that has multiple eventlets, with one available to members only, and the other open to all. 

Fortunately there is a way to tweak your pricing settings to make this happen, but first, a reminder that if you're looking to restrict all of your eventlets (or event) to a certain group of people, you may want to consider making your entire event invite-only.

The first step is to create your eventlets. 

(It's important to note here that this is not the place for adding modifications; price and date options are available in subsequent stages. So please don't create an event called "Conference - earlybird price - members-only." It'll just make things more difficult for you in the long run.)

Then you can go ahead add add your "members" and "non-members" under the ticket types tab:

If, using the above example, I want to restrict "Members-only eventlet" to members-only, I tweak my ticket prices tab so that no value is entered for the non-member  option.

The result of this is that the non-members option will be set to "unavailable" for the members-only eventlet on your registration form.

You can further reinforce this by requesting additional supporting information (like a membership number) on the Attendee Info section of the form. (You would leave this  non-mandatory, of course, as not all of your attendees are expected to be members.)
